Katelyn Barry

Associate Director of Bands

Katelyn Barry received her Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of Arkansas in May 2022. While at the UofA, Barry served as Drum Major of the Razorback Marching Band, principal oboist of the UA Wind Ensemble, and received awards for Outstanding Music Education and Woodwind Performance. In addition to teaching oboe lessons throughout NWA, Barry has also performed in numerous chamber groups and ensembles, including the Arkansas Philharmonic Orchestra.

Barry additionally holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and will complete a Graduate Certification for Teaching Music to Students with Special Needs in July 2022. Originally from southeast Texas, she now resides in Bentonville, where she enjoys running and cycling in her free time.
