What Are We?
WBB (Wolverine Band Boosters) is an organization comprised of dedicated parents and guardians existing to support the students and directors of the Bentonville West HS band programs. We accomplish this through encouraging volunteer involvement, driving fundraising activities and recognizing band accomplishments.
How Do We Help?
Our band directors rely on WBB volunteers in several areas to help run a successful Band program. Some of those include:
Concessions
Chaperones
Band student meals
Truck/trailer drivers
Performance pit crew
Prop construction and maintenance
Uniform maintenance
Photography
Events and hospitality
We want you!
WBB Board Officer nominations are now open for the 2025-26 band season! If you are interested in joining the board, please fill out the nomination form below. Nominations will close April 30, 2025. CLICK HERE for officer job descriptions.
Am I eligible?
Parents and/or guardians of students (grades 6-12) currently enrolled in a band and/or color guard programs at Bentonville West High School OR its feeder schools are eligible to serve on the board. (Must be in good standing as outlined in the Volunteer Code of Conduct.)
When & where are board meetings?
Board meetings will be held at BWHS, typically in the band room or nearby, in the evenings on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. Terms will begin July 1, 2025.
Where Do I Submit Nominations?
Are There Other Ways I Can Serve?
Yes! We understand that not everyone has the time to dedicate to an officer position. Volunteer Managers are dedicated volunteers tasked with a set of responsibilities for the 2025-2026 band season. These leaders will receive direction from a Wolverine Band Booster Officer and provide direction to volunteer helpers. As a non-voting member, board meeting attendance is encouraged but not required. Please select “Volunteer Manager Position” on the nomination form.
Examples of Volunteer Managers include, but are not limited to:
Photographer (Communications Team)
Yearbook Manager (Communications Team)
Home Meals Manager (Student Services Team)
Away Meals Manager (Student Services Team)
Transportation Manager (Operations Team)
Build/Repair Manager (Operations Team)
Pit-Crew Manager (Operations Team)
Stand Manager (Concessions Team)
Lead Chaperone (Volunteers Team)
I don’t see an area I’m interested in.
